140 YEARS OF WINEMAKING HISTORY
Boutaris Winery has 6 wineries in Greece, giving it the opportunity to experiment in the viticultural sector with the acclimatization of varieties in the most suitable areas, thus developing a complete range of products. The wineries allow it to participate actively in the wine, cultural and socio-economic development of the regions in which it operates.
Establishment of the Boutaris Winery by Ioannis Boutaris in Naoussa, North Macedonia, with the aim of producing and marketing quality red bottled wine.
In 1906 the first privately owned winery and retail cellar was built in Naoussa. In this winery the first Greek red bottled wine “Naoussa Boutari” has been produced and bottled.
